By creating an account on or accessing Crews ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use Crews.
Crews is a virtual co-working platform that brings people together for structured focus sessions with real-time audio, video, chat, and community features. The Service includes:

You may only maintain one account. We reserve the right to remove or reclaim usernames that are inactive, misleading, or infringe on trademarks.
Crews is a community built on mutual respect and shared focus. You agree not to:

Focus sessions are live, real-time environments with other users. By joining a session, you understand that:
Crews allows you to form and join groups ("Crews") and participate in community features:
New accounts can join unlimited sessions for their first 14 days. After that, the free plan includes up to 5 sessions per calendar month. Free-plan limits, and which features are included, may change over time; we will post current details on our pricing page.
The Crews paid plan is $25 per month (USD) and is billed on a recurring monthly basis. By subscribing, you authorize us (or our payment processors) to charge your payment method at the start of each billing cycle until you cancel. Prices are exclusive of any applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout. We may change prices with reasonable advance notice; changes take effect at your next billing cycle after notice.
Web subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Mobile subscriptions, where offered, are processed through Apple's in-app purchase system (managed via RevenueCat). Your use of these payment services is also subject to their respective terms.
A founding rate of $15 per month is available to early subscribers while founding spots remain. The founding rate stays locked for as long as your subscription remains continuously active. If you cancel and later resubscribe, the founding rate may no longer be available. Separately, a member on the regular monthly plan who hosts 10 or more public sessions in a calendar month (sessions that at least one other member attended) receives a $10 credit on their next monthly invoice; how hosted sessions are counted, and any changes to this program, will be posted on the pricing page.
You may cancel at any time from the billing portal in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access to paid features until then, and you will not be charged again. For mobile subscriptions, cancellation must be done through your device's subscription management settings.
Because billing is monthly and you can cancel at any time, we do not provide prorated refunds for partial months, except where required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at crews@thepitch.co and we will review it. For in-app purchases, refund requests must be directed to Apple per their refund policy.
We may offer referral programs that provide benefits when users you invite subscribe. Referral rewards are subject to change and may be modified or discontinued at any time. Abuse of referral programs (including self-referrals or fraudulent signups) is grounds for account termination.
You retain ownership of all content you create on Crews, including chat messages, community posts, profile information, tasks, and session goals. By using the Service, you grant Crews a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, transmit, and distribute your content solely as necessary to operate and provide the Service (for example, showing your messages to other session participants or displaying your community posts to your crew).
You represent that you have the right to share any content you post and that your content does not infringe on the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms, and to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly or egregiously violate our content policies.
Crews offers optional integrations with third-party services including Notion, Todoist, Linear, and Things for task synchronization. When you connect a third-party service:
The Crews name, logo, visual design, and all related trademarks, graphics, and software are the property of Crews. Our source code, algorithms, and underlying technology are proprietary. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written consent.
Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. By using Crews, you agree to our collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE ANY SPECIFIC RESULTS FROM USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING PRODUCTIVITY IMPROVEMENTS OR FOCUS OUTCOMES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CREWS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO CREWS IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Crews and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms, engage in conduct that is harmful to other users or the Service, or for any other reason at our reasonable discretion. Upon termination:
You may delete your account at any time. Account deletion requests can be made through the app or by contacting us at crews@thepitch.co.
If you have a dispute with Crews, we encourage you to contact us first at crews@thepitch.co so we can try to resolve it informally. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for intellectual property matters.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated terms on this page, updating the "Last updated" date, and — where appropriate — sending a notification through the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you disagree with the updated terms, you should stop using the Service and delete your account.
